Terms & Policies



A deposit of 30% $1,798.50 is required for each participent to secure a reservation. The balance of the workshop fee $4,196.50 is due May 1st 2018. There are only ten (10) spots available for participants in the See the Light Workshop. 


If a reservation is made after the May 1, 2018 balance date then the entire workshop fee is due. Payment in full is necessary to participate in the workshop. Pixl Project LLC reserves the right to cancel your reservation if payment is not received when due. Loss of deposit or workshop fee will be applied as below in the refunds section.

Cancellation of the workshop due to natural disasters, terrorism, political issues, and forces outside the control of Pixl Project LLC will be taken on a case by case basis. We must commit the collected workshop funds to external entities well in advance of the workshop. In many cases the cancellation fees by these entities would negate any return of funds or workshop fees. It is strongly recommended that participants take out trip insurance to cover any losses that may occur should the participant or Pixl Project LLC have to cancel the workshop.


Reservation Fee - If you decide to cancel before the May 1st balance due date and we are able to fill your reservation space then your deposit with be refunded. If we are unable to fill your reservation space then we will not be able to return your deposit. 
No refund is possible.

Workshop fee - Cancelling the workshop will result in the following charges.
- If you cancel between May 2nd and August 1, 2018 and we cannot fill your spot 50% of the workshop fee ($2,997.50) will be refunded. (If we can fill your spot then you'll receive a full refund).
- If you cancel after August 1, 2018 we cannot refund your workshop fee.

Travel insurance is highly recommended. If you do not have travel insurance then the entire cost of the workshop could be lost if you have to cancel or cut short the workshop due to injury, illness or a life event. Also any natural or man made disaster or event that takes place could affect the ability for the workshop to continue or take place depending on circumstances.

There are a number of restrictions and limitations on any insurance program. It is your responsibility to check the coverages and policies of the company you choose to do business with. Make sure to review trip cancellation, lost baggage, cost of international flights and medical insurance. To choose a company there are number of websites and services available. Equipment Insurance: 

You should absolutely obtain equipment insurance. Do not assume that homeowners insurance will cover a loss overseas. Insurance companies that we use and have overseas "inland marine" policies are:




Meeting in Venice will take place at 10:00 to 12:00 am on the 28th of September at the Hotel Palazzo Giovanelli & Gran Canal
Santa Croce, San Stae, 2070 1-30135 Venice, Italy. www.hotelpalazzogiovanelli.com. Check in of rooms is at !500 (3:00pm) so the hotel will hold our luggage until our rooms are available.

If you arrive later than 12:00 we will be checking the hotel often and will have your arrival information. 


The workshop is staying at 4 star hotel properties. In Venice, due to the popularity of Venice and the lack of 4 star accommodations, we will have to share rooms with two participants per room. Once we are outside Venice our Dolomite hotel Toderini will feature private rooms for each participant.


We need to be advised of any medical requirements, concerns, allergies that participants may have. We'll do our best to accomodate your needs but remember we are in a foreign country. It is advisable that you bring any medication necessary and have back up in case a bag is lost, stolen or delayed.
